Payment Policy
1. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Important Information
All payments on PyLand are processed by the applicable Paddle group entity identified at checkout and in the Paddle Buyer Terms. Paddle acts as authorised reseller and Merchant of Record.
This means that the sale contract for the payment transaction is with Paddle, while pylandschool provides and supports the educational product. Within its role, Paddle is responsible for:
- accepting and processing payments;
- calculating, collecting, and remitting applicable taxes (VAT, GST, Sales Tax, and others);calculating, collecting, and remitting applicable taxes (VAT, GST, Sales Tax, and others);
- compliance with regulatory requirements for payment transactions;
- processing refunds.
pylandschool grants a licence to use the purchased educational content.
2. Prices and Currency
Prices may be displayed in USD, EUR, RUB, or another available currency. Paddle displays the final currency, applicable taxes, and total before payment confirmation. Any conversion by the user's bank or payment provider uses its own rates and terms.
The Company reserves the right to change course prices. A price change does not affect purchases already made.
Promotions and discount promo codes may be offered from time to time. Discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Taxes
As Merchant of Record, Paddle independently calculates and collects all applicable taxes based on the buyer's country of residence. The final price shown on the payment page already includes all taxes and fees.
Users representing a legal entity and registered as VAT payers in the EU may enter their VAT number during checkout to apply the reverse charge mechanism.
4. Payment Methods
The following payment methods are available through Paddle, depending on the country:
- Bank cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club;
- PayPal;
- Apple Pay;
- Google Pay;
- Local payment methods (depending on region).
Available payment methods are displayed on the checkout page.
5. Payment Process
- Select a course on the PyLand platform and click the purchase button.
- You will be redirected to Paddle's secure checkout page.
- Enter your payment details and confirm the order.
- After a successful payment you will immediately receive access to the course and a confirmation email.
Access to the course is provided immediately upon payment confirmation from Paddle. In case of technical issues activating your access, please contact us at info@pylandschool.com.
6. Payment Security
All payment transactions are processed by Paddle using the following security measures:
- PCI DSS Level 1 certification — the highest security standard in the payment card industry;
- TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption for transmission of payment data;
- 3D Secure authentication (where applicable);
- Paddle's fraud detection system.
pylandschool does not receive or store users' bank card data.
7. Refunds
A 30-day full money-back guarantee applies, no questions asked.
To request a refund, contact us at info@pylandschool.com or Paddle support. PyLand reviews the request under its guarantee and initiates it through Paddle; settlement time depends on Paddle, the bank, and payment method.

Payment disputes
Because Paddle processes payments as the Merchant of Record, disputes concerning unauthorised charges or payment errors should be submitted to Paddle Support: paddle.net. Paddle is responsible for resolving payment disputes under its policies.
Australian consumer rights
Australian consumers have rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These rights apply independently of the 30-day refund policy and cannot be limited by it. For ACL-related questions, contact info@pylandschool.com.
