1. Definitions
- "Platform" — the pylandschool.com website and all associated PyLand services.

- "User" — a natural person registered on the Platform.
- "Course" — educational product in the form of video lessons, texts, assignments, and other educational materials.an educational product in the form of video lessons, texts, assignments, and other learning materials.
- «Paddle» — the applicable Paddle group entity identified at checkout and in the Paddle Buyer Terms, acting as authorised reseller and Merchant of Record.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on or using the Platform, you confirm that:

- you are at least 18, or use the Platform with a parent or legal guardian's consent and supervision where permitted by law;
- you have legal capacity to enter into legally binding agreements.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Platform.
3. Services Description
PyLand is an online educational platform providing:
- structured video courses on programming and related disciplines;
- interactive assignments, tests, and practical projects;
- mentoring support;
- certificates of successful course completion;
- access to the educational community.
The Company has the right to change the composition and content of services, notifying users of significant changes.
4. Registration and Account
When registering, you agree to:
- provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself;
- promptly update your data when it changes;
- keep your password and credentials confidential;

Only one account per user is permitted. Transferring an account to third parties is prohibited. Registration is possible via the sign-up form on the website or through OAuth (Google, GitHub).
The Company is not liable for damage caused by unauthorised use of an account resulting from the user's failure to maintain adequate security measures.
5. Payment. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Paddle's Role
All payments are processed by the applicable Paddle entity identified at checkout as authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. For the payment transaction, the product is purchased from Paddle; Paddle collects payment, calculates applicable indirect taxes, and processes refunds under its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
Prices
The price is displayed in an available currency. Paddle shows the final currency and total including applicable taxes before purchase confirmation. The Company does not control exchange rates applied by the user's bank or payment provider.
Payment Methods
Available through Paddle: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and a range of local methods depending on the region.
Taxes
As Merchant of Record, Paddle independently calculates and remits applicable taxes. The final price shown on the payment page includes all taxes and fees.

6. Course Access
After Paddle confirms payment, you receive personal access while the course exists on the Platform, but for at least 2 years from purchase unless a longer or different term is stated in the course description. Access is non-transferable.
If access is planned to end after the guaranteed period, the Company will notify users at least 90 days in advance where technically and legally possible.
In the event of a significant change to the course content after purchase, the user has the right to request a refund.
Free First Lesson
For some courses, free preview of the first lesson is available. Full access is provided only after purchase.
7. Intellectual Property
All Platform Content — videos, texts, illustrations, source code, logos — is the property of pylandschool or used under licences. Purchasing a course grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal non-commercial use of the materials.
The following are prohibited:
- reproducing, copying, reselling, or publicly distributing course materials without the Company's written permission;reproducing, copying, reselling, or publicly distributing course materials without written permission from the Company;
- creating derivative commercial works based on course materials;
- recording screen captures of courses for distribution.
Users retain copyright over project work independently created in the course of practical assignments.
8. Code of Conduct
When using the Platform, it is prohibited to:
- violate applicable law and third-party rights;
- post malicious software, spam, or misleading materials;
- gaining unauthorised access to the Platform's systems, attempting to hack or reverse-engineer;engage in unauthorized access to Platform systems, hacking attempts, or reverse engineering;

9. Limitation of Liability

- specific educational or career outcomes after completing courses;
- actions of third parties, including payment service providers.
The Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the respective course in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to cases of the Company's wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor to consumer rights established by mandatory provisions of applicable law.
The 'as is' clause does not affect mandatory consumer rights in Australia under the Australian Consumer Law, in the United Kingdom under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or in the EU under Directive 2011/83/EU. Services supplied to Australian consumers come with ACL guarantees that these Terms cannot exclude.
10. Termination of Access
The Company has the right to suspend or terminate a user's access to the Platform for violation of these Terms. For serious violations (fraud, copyright infringement) the account may be blocked immediately. In other cases, a warning is issued first.
The user has the right to request deletion of their account at any time by writing to info@pylandschool.com. Refunds upon voluntary account deletion are governed by the Refund Policy.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Georgian law. Disputes not resolved in the pre-trial procedure shall be referred to the competent courts of Kutaisi, Georgia.
EU Users
For consumers in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence apply, including Directive 2011/83/EU. Disputes may be heard by courts where the consumer resides.
UK Users
Consumers from the United Kingdom are protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer legislation. Disputes may be heard by the courts of England and Wales.
Australian consumers
Australian consumers have statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Disputes may be heard by courts in the relevant Australian state or territory. These Terms do not exclude or limit those rights.
12. Changes to Terms
The Company may amend these Terms. The current version is published on this page. Material changes are communicated in advance by an available method where required by applicable law. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
